[ it's not the first time he's been in the grand casino since it was opened but it's the first time he's been here specifically to mess with the actual games. he's sat at one of the gaming tables with a pack of those fancy gold-leaf cards spread out in front of him.
it looks like he's flicking through some kind of booklet as well, but. eh. it's probably nothing. ]
[Luckily, Hizamaru is a sword, so he's relatively talkative. And he sort of likes Shiraishi, too. So he raises his arm and waves from across the casino. He hasn't been here yet.]
[ Hearing his name called does get him to look up, but he just lifts a hand in acknowledgement before going back to whatever he's reading. Rules, it looks like. For some sort of game?
It sounds way too complicated for something recreational, but the whole part about playing into people's tells? He likes that. ]
[ new basement level and things to explore aside, once shiraishi's done the obligatory sweep of the new floor, he heads back up to the gift shop. he wants to check the offerings out anyway, and see if there's anything new as a first step.
also someone owes him a gift, and he wants to collect. ]
[Someone is a very good boy, so he patiently waits at the beginning of the rooming hall where they should meet, standing quietly and formally out of the way.
He doesn't seem embarrassed or nervous, though he does occasionally glance up and down the hall as if he's looking for someone. When Shiraishi appears, he raises his hand a bit in a hail.]
[Having sex, falling asleep, and waking up isn't something he's unaccustomed to doing actually. The only anomaly in the situation is the fact the person beside him is Shiraishi and not anyone else.
Drowsily, he turns his head to glance at the other side of the bed, and then, slowly, he raises it up so he can see out from under the wild fringe of disorderly hair.]
[ it's good to shake things up sometimes. shiraishi's already pretty awake, early in the morning. his sleep is light and easily lost, so he's treated to the full amusing sight of hizamaru blearily staring at him from amidst all that hair. ]
[Satisfied by the fact he isn't suddenly alone, he pushes a hand through his hair even if it won't tame it but a little, and then he drops his head back down onto the pillow.]
[Shiraishi looks hilarious with the d-cake, so it ends up getting him to crack the barest hints of a grin. He stops beside Shiraishi, glancing at the coffee, at the stall, and then at the d-cake Shiraishi has.]
[ His eyes flicker up at that, briefly, before looking back down at the knot he's tying and with a firmer twist of his wrist-- he tightens it, a fair bit. Until Hizamaru'll will be able to feel the bite against his wrists and arms. ]
Something you wouldn't usually say, from what I know. Means you're less likely to use it without meaning to.
[The tightening rope earns a very soft, pleased hum out of him. He can feel the grip pulling his muscles tight, but not painfully so. There is something strangely arousing about it, and he wonders if it shouldn't be. Shiraishi is somewhere he trusts for the most part, and so there is no real, true fear or worry.
Only curiosity behind what Shiraishi will do with the wrapped prize.]
...Higekiri then. [A double-edged sword; not only does he really never say it, but invoking his brother's name means he'll be giving up. Dishonorable.] I only call him elder brother, so...

Here to play a few games?
no subject
[When he gets there, he looks over the table and the cards and then Shiraishi and the book.]
I don't know how to play... but I don't mind learning.
no subject
[ he flips through a few of the cards before setting them down in front of him, gold colouring on the backs. ]
Pick one, and we'll play a game. Red coloured card, and we'll play the easy version. Black coloured card, and we'll play something more challenging.

The usual rule of thumb is you want to be untied, you say a specific word. Any suggestions?

What kind of word? [A pause.] It can be tighter, Shiraishi-san.
