[ new basement level and things to explore aside, once shiraishi's done the obligatory sweep of the new floor, he heads back up to the gift shop. he wants to check the offerings out anyway, and see if there's anything new as a first step.

also someone owes him a gift, and he wants to collect. ]

[Did Shiraishi ask Hizamaru to meet him? It doesn't matter. After a few minutes, a certain green-haired sword comes wandering up.]

Shiraishi-san. Did you find something you wanted? I just ask you don't request something that uses many of my tokens.

[ i like to think they just showed up at the same time, as if fate brought them there gently and fortutiously.

he just smiles, and waves a hand. hello there. ]

Oh I'm not that greedy. I have something non-expensive in mind.

[At this, he nods and steps up beside Shiraishi so he can also look over the gift shop.]

[ shiraishi just smiles, like usual, and lifts a hand to point at the clue voucher. ]

Nothing too much. But given everything that's been happening, we need whatever we can to tip the scales in our favour. Don't you agree?

[He peers at the voucher.]

If we're down to the wire, any advantage will help.

I think so, too. You should just be careful not to waste it, Shiraishi-san. But I trust you won't do that.

Hopefully I won't. But if we have a situation like the first trial here, then something like this could narrow things down. Advantages should be taken where they can.

[Nodding, he steps in to purchase (1) clue voucher to hand over to Shiriashi. And then he looks over the other things with some consideration.]

[ he will accept this (1) clue voucher and tuck it safely away in his jacket. wonderful. the pact has been sealed.

he's looking over a couple of the items as well, but also half keeping at interested eye out for what hizamaru might purchase. ]

[His eyes linger for a bit on a few things. Once or twice, it looks like he might have the inclination to step forward again and get something, but ultimately, he turns back to Shiraishi.]
